东英吉利大学最新卫报排名全英第17位

The University of East Anglia (UEA) has been ranked 17th in the UK by the Guardian University Guide

UEA has jumped seven places from last year’s 24th position in the table, which ranks 119 universities in a range of categories including teaching, student-staff ratios, entry tariffs and career prospects.

This year’s announcement includes significant rises in individual subject rankings at UEA, including law, which climbed 17 places and mathematics which improved by 24. Three subjects appear in the top five institutions in the UK, with Pharmacy placed third, American Studies fourth and Nursing fifth.

The result is the latest league table success for UEA, which was revealed as the number one university for student experience in the Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey 2013, and ranked in the world top 100 for research excellence by the CWTS Leiden Ranking 2013. UEA also achieved another seven-place rise in the Complete University Guide, climbing from 27 to enter the top 20 in this league table for the first time.

Prof Edward Acton, Vice-Chancellor of UEA, said: “Our consistently strong performance in league tables in this, our 50th anniversary year, is testament to our commitment to improving and supporting all aspects of the university, from top-class research and academics to a student experience that is second to none.

“I am extremely proud of all UEA staff, students and the students’ union for all they do to make UEA such a splendid place to live, work and study.”
